Outreach

On September 9, 2017, OPC Consumer Services Staff participated in the Celebrate Petworth event held on Upshur Street NW.  Celebrate Petworth promotes the diversity and growing community in the upper Northwest D.C. Neighborhood.

Stephen Marencic of OPC’s consumer services division took advantage of the opportunity to meet and talk with Petworth consumers on an individual basis and address a wide variety of topics including: green energy, utility merger applications, third party energy suppliers, and utility service issues.  OPC distributed informational cards and copies of the new Guide to Third Party Suppliers.  To learn more about OPC’s outreach initiatives, or to have an OPC speaker attend your event, contact OPC at 202-727-3071.
